The
start is from Krinnenkopf, 2100m, which you reach with cableway from Fulpmes. Hoher Burgstall can be seen in the middle of the picture,
behind Niederer Burgstall.
|
The
restaurant Sennjoch is reached after only some 20 minutes. In the
background Schlicker Seespitze, 2804m, is hidden in clouds. |
The real climb
begins after Sennjoch, at first up towards Niederer Burgstall.
|

|

|

|
Very beautiful
on the way up. In the backgroungd is Serles, 2717m. |
The
path continues along the cliffs up to Niederer Burgstall. |
From here Hoher
Burgstall gets clearly visible.
|

|

|

|
The
last part of the climb from the north is steep, and apart from a steel
wire securing, here are also iron hoops for the feet at some places. No
bigger problems though. |
At
the summit, right now in clouds.
|
The clouds start
to disperse after a while, and we can enjoy the wiew.

|
On
my way back I take the time to climb Niederer Burgstall, 2436m, a short
and easy detour from the path. In the background Hoher Burgstall, now
once again in clouds. |
