Synshorn, 1475m, Norway 15/7 2026

Synshorn is found at Bygdin, in the southeastern corner
of Jotunheimen. There is a via ferrata  from this side, but
I will take the normal route up. I'm arriving early, to be
able to drive home aftewards. Starting height is 1060m.
At 1200m there is a water crossing, efter that you take the path to the right. Then just follow the trail. To the west, the lake Heimre Fagerdalstjernet.

Up on 1300m+. The lake Bygdin below and the peak
Bitihorn behind to the left. One thing that makes this peak
stand out a little, is that it's surrounded by beautiful lakes.
Arriving at the lower summit, 1455m. A small Norwegian
flag is placed on top of the cairn.  To the southeast is the
  lake Vinstre
Looking back at the lower summit, on the way to the main.

Arriving at the main summit, 1475m. Here you can see
  Rasletinden, 2105m, to the north
.
And here's a look to the west. I am really pleased with everything, cimbed 4 peaks in 4 days, all in perfect weather., all according to plan. Now it's just a descent to the car and almost 10 hours to my home.
