This time I try my newly bought maxiscooter, Yamaha
Xmax 300, to see how it handles touring. I must say it
passes with flying colors. More comfortable and
plaesant than my last mc.
I
have been on Haglebunatten before. But this time I use a route I
haven't done before. Parking by the lake att 820m, with a clear and
easy path to begin with.
Then comes the stone stairs, recently built by sherpas from Nepal. 200 altitude meters, with around 1000 steps. |

Going up the stairs, with beautiful views down towards
Haglebu.
The last time I was here, these stairs were not built. It's a
nice route, here seen from 1000m altitude. |
Above the stairs, the lake Snøfonntjenn at 1030m

A bit futher up, I meet a flock of reindeers. The aren't
afraid of me, but at the same time keep their distance.
They watch me with care.
Getting closer to the first summit.
Almost up there. |

The first summit is really a viewpoint. And there is a view!
Haglebu is down below, with Norefjell in the background.
About 500m fom the viewpoint is the highest point, 1278m. Here I have the company of a nice Norwegian lady, that I
met going up.
The
views from the summit are beautiful at this time of year, and crystal
clear air makes it even better! The Gausta Peak can be seen in the
southwest.

To the northwest, Hallingskarvet.
And in the southeast, pretty close, is Norefjell.
