Here is Läuferspitze
from the
cablecar station Füssener Jöchle. The
steep climb is just to the right of the middle in
this picture.
|
Füssener
Jöchle, seen from the trail towards Läuferspitze. |
As
we get higher, it gets steeper.
|
|
|
|
Here
comes a number of more or less vertical climbs, with steel
wires.
For a via ferrata, it's not too difficult.
|
The
summit is limited and narrow. On the other side you can descend,
leading towards the trail to Schartschrofen. Even this trail is steep
and secured with wires. |
Here
is Köllenspitze, Gimpel and Rote Flüh
in the background. To the right and lower is Schartschrofen, where I am
heading.
|
|
|
|
On
route to Schartschrofen, Tanneimer Tal can be seen far
below.
The lake Haldensee has the, for the Alps, typical
turquoise
color.
|
The
trail to Schartschrofen is easier than Läuferspitze. There are
no
climbs here and there is also a path leading around
Läuferspitze. |
A
look from the summit of Schartschrofen. On this side
the Friedberger Klettersteig begins, with wires leading
downwards. This via ferrata
finally ends at the summit of Rote Flüh.
|
|
|
|
In
the other direction are the steep cliffs leading to the
summit of Rote Flüh.
