Schlicker Seespitze 2804m

We start the walk from Krinnenkopf cableway station in
Stubaital, 2100m. To begin with it's mostly a horizontal
 hike on a broad path.
After a while the actual climb begins, first up towards the
base of Niederer Burgstall.
Upwards, upwards...

A pause at 2400m altitude. Schlicker Seespitze in the  background. After one more climb we reach a flatter part over a stone
field, up towards the pass Seejöchl.
At Seejöchl, 2518m. From here the path to the actual peak begins.

The last 200 altitude meters are more demanding, and
requires constant concentration. Stones can start rolling
and falling down at any time, dangerous for those below.
A number of tricky passages where one would normally
see secured wires, we have to manage without.
The summit has a fairly small space but the view is magnificent.

"Moonlandshape" to the north, where the peaks of
 Kalkkögel stretches towards Innsbruck.
