Elferspitze 2505 m (och Zwölferspitze 2562 m)

In this case the walk begins at the cableway station on
 1790m altitude.
First the path winds up to Elferhütte, reached after some
20 minutes. In the background Stubai Valley.
After a late spring in Austria the spring flowers are now in full bloom on the mountain.

The landscape gets more dramatic the higher you get. In
the background you can see Ilmspitze.
A look into the Stubai Valley. The trail to the summit. Just around 100m left to go.

The last meters are secured with a steel wire, which is
needed. But with the help of the wire it´s easy to get up
 there.
After the top I continue towards the pass Zwölfernieder, at 2335m altitude. In the background you can see Habicht, 3277m. The wiew towards Pinnistal is breathtaking and of course impossible to fully reproduce on photo. The word that came to me standing there was: unreal.

Almost at Zwölfernieder. Behind the pass rises the peak
Zwölferspitze, that I am now going for.
The walking gradually changes into pure climbing with
hands and feat. A vertical slope to the left gets
complemented with another one to the right. About 10
altitude meters from the top I get enough. The last meters
are very steep so I turn around here.
Elferspitze, seen from Zwölferspitze. The main summit is the one a bit to the right in this picture.
